Nurture yourself with creative time outdoors, and in a warm studio, in a beautiful setting.
 
Immerse yourself in nature, observing and sketching landscapes up to the horizon, before returning to the studio to create your own collaged, layered landscape.  Apply washes.  Make cuts.  Stick.  Create sculptural depth.
 
This workshop will help you experiment and explore materials, ideas and processes.  Elements of the day will encourage mindfulness and develop a deeper sense of awareness in nature, promoting emotional well-being.
 
Penny is an East Devon artist, illustrator and educator who has recently completed an MA in Illustration.  She has a degree in Fine Art and has enjoyed a teaching career in secondary education.  www.pennyrobertsart.com

Directions & Parking
Search for 'Creative Beings’ on Google Maps.  Coming from Honiton on the A373, in the middle of Awliscombe, on your right, you'll see the village car park, then the closed pub, then Chinston Close then, 10 metres later, The Old Rectory.  A few cars can park on our drive and we try to leave these spaces for people who are less mobile.  Ideally, please use the laybys outside The Old Rectory or use the village car park.
 
Walk between the house and garage, through the arched doorway, and you'll see the studio in front of you.
