We are delighted that this course will be tutored by leading figurative sculptor Lucianne Lassalle.
 
Enjoy 4 days in a modern studio, nestled in nature, as we work directly from a life model.  We will focus on 2 seated poses, using blocks to help create figures that can sit on a shelf.  The figures can interact, or not, and the finished pieces will be about 8 inches high.  There will be options to move into abstraction or remain focused on realism.
 
The workshop is suitable for all but experience of life-drawing or observational studies of the human figure, in any material, would be useful.  You will be tutored individually and will be encouraged to work at your own pace.
 
If you wish to preserve your finished work, you will need to take it away and have it fired, at your own cost.

Awliscombe is 2 miles northwest from Honiton on the A373.  Coming from Honiton, in the middle of the village on your right side you'll see the Honiton Inn then Chinston Close then, 10 metres later, the sign for 'The Old Rectory'.  (If you go too far then you’ll pass the new vicarage then the primary school.)
There is some parking on our drive.  Alternatively, there are laybys just past our house (nearer the school) or the village car park (by the pub).
