We're delighted to be welcoming back Julu Irvine and Heg Brignall, of folk duo Suthering, for another intimate gig in the Creative Beings studio.
 
Evocative and distinctive, folk duo Suthering transport audiences with their exquisite vocal harmonies and their message of hope during hard times.  Soaring above the cascading piano and delicate, fingerstyle guitar, it’s the duo’s beautifully matched voices and their fresh approach to folk which make their traditional and self-penned songs stand out. 
 
Known for their chemistry and humour on stage, they intertwine their important messages about the state of our climate, social conscience, and the importance of community and connecting with nature. They champion female characters, creating new narratives for women and unearthing the female heroines of folk.

Search for 'Creative Beings’ on Google Maps.  Coming from Honiton on the A373, in the middle of Awliscombe, on your right, you'll see the village car park, then the closed pub, then Chinston Close then, 10 metres later, The Old Rectory.  A few cars can park on our drive.  Please use the laybys outside our house or the village car park.
 
Walk between the house and garage, through the arched doorway, and you'll see the studio in front of you.
