From the land of 1000 rhythms - Sat 27th June

As heard in Wigmore Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields and across Europe.

Join for an evening of varied exotic music, full of bold colours, lyrical depth and distinctive musical chemistry.

International prize-winners Emily Andrews and Francisco Correa perform beautiful South American music on guitar, flute and voice.
Hear them share heartfelt songs and virtuosic tunes from Francisco’s native Colombia, Brazil and Venezuela, as well as Latin-American inspired pieces by contemporary Welsh composer Stephen Goss.

Francisco Correa: “Wonderful, a truly remarkable performer.” - BBC Radio 3
“One of Colombia's top classical guitarists, highly recommended!” - Classical Guitar Magazine

Emily Andrews: “Clearly a multi-talented performer.  As well as being a fine flautist, she has a rich mezzo voice and a great deal of dramatic presence.” - Lark Review

Directions & Parking

Search for 'Creative Beings’ on Google Maps.  Coming from Honiton on the A373, in the middle of Awliscombe, on your right, you'll see the village car park, then the closed pub, then Chinston Close then, 10 metres later, The Old Rectory.  A few cars can park on our drive and we try to leave these spaces for people who are less mobile.  Ideally, please use the laybys outside The Old Rectory or use the village car park.

Walk between the house and garage, through the arched doorway, and you'll see the studio in front of you.
