We are delighted that this course will be tutored by leading figurative sculptor Lucianne Lassalle.
 
In this focused workshop, we’ll create a sculpture with an attitudinal pose.  Students should gain a good understanding of the human form by working directly from a life model.  We’ll start with rough sketching before building on an armature.  Then there will be an option to move into abstraction or remain focused on realism.
 
The workshop is suitable for all but experience of life-drawing or observational studies of the human figure, in any material, would be useful.  You will be tutored individually and will be encouraged to work at your own pace.
 
If you wish to preserve your finished work, you will need to take it away and have it cast or fired, at your own cost. 
 
Mon 28th – Thur 31st Oct, 10:00 - 16:30
 
£435 (£150 deposit + £285 balance) covers tutor, life model, clay, base board, tools, lunch, refreshments.
