Creative mark-making with Jane Woods
Come and join us for a day of play, making beautiful images with this magical and early photographic art form.
Blueprint is the term derived from the original cyanotypes created by John Herschel to record his scientific findings in 1842. In 1843 Anna Atkins published her botanical photographs which became the first book to contain photographic images.
We’ll work from a warm, light and airy studio with lovely views of nature. There will be the option to go on some short, gentle walks. Please bring a sketchbook, canvas bag to collect materials in, something to write / draw with and a pair of walking boots (to be on the safe side).
